Biography
Amber is a local Texan who has been providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic health care since 2009. She believes in providing thorough, compassionate, and evidence-based medical guidance during every stage of a woman’s life, from adolescence and beyond. She believes in educating her patients with the latest medical evidence possible, so that they may make the best decisions for their health.
Amber received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington and her Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus on Women’s and Adult Health at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. While at Emory University, she was elected as the President of the Graduate Nursing Council, where she worked alongside President Jimmy Carter on multiple nursing projects. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Society while at Emory. After finishing up her studies and becoming board-certified, she moved back to Texas to be closer to her family and begin her career. In 2010, she trained in IUD insertions and Nexplanon Insertions. She was a volunteer of the Junior League of Dallas and has worked with the Genesis Women’s Shelter. She is an active member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners Association and the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.
Outside of practicing women’s health, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She loves traveling to new places, practicing yoga, and watching Marvel movies.
